I have submitted a company registration request via your online form. I
needed information as I am not actually trading
at the moment. I just wanted to set-up the company etc ready for once
my website goes live. This may take another month or two yet, and I
probably will not take on any payments for another few month following that.
Please could you advise with regards to my tax position. |

Dear Tahira,
Thank you for your question. If you don't make any profit then you shouldn't be worried about taxes. Just remember - when you begin your trading you will need to inform the Companies House about
accounting reference date for your Company.

currently near to the deadline of submitting
accounts.

wanna apply for the "Audit exemptions for very small

and find a reporting accountant to finish this work
for me. Please let me know if you know how to do
audit exemptions for very small companies. I look

You do not have to apply for small company
exemption. The limits are:
Turnover: < £5.6m and
Total assets: < £ 2.8m and
Company qualifies as small company under
Section 246/247 Companies Act 1985

of turnover or amount of monthly transactions. In
this case FTI made special enquiry form. Just
remember: if you order bookkeeping - the prices for
VAT, Annual Accounts, Audit will be reduced, as all
