I am looking to establish a UK Pvt Limited Company -
just a couple of questions that I need help with
before I'm on my way. Firstly, the business being
established in an online (subscription based)
newsletter. Expected sales in the first year will be
around £40,000. My questions are: 1) Would I need to
register for VAT? 2) I have limited use for a
conventional bank account, since all my business is
carried out online, and I could conduct all business
over the internet. Opening Moneybookers and Paypal
account is fairly simple. Of course, if the
procedure for opening a conventional account is
simple I would do so. So my two questions are: 1) Is
a business bank account required by law, and must it
be in the UK? 2) Would my physical presence in the
UK be essential to opening such an account? Cheers. |

@ if all operations are controlled and managed

Hi
Everyone!
My
questions
may be
interesting
for ALL:
- The
question
is:
italian
"vat
number
(partita
iva)"
or
LTD
in
England?
- I
prefer
the
second
choice,
but
I
need
to
know
the
procedure
for
getting
an
LTD
and
everything
regarding
tax,
bank,
vat
numeber,
and
so
on.
- in
the
case
of
an
english
LTF
I
can
work
also
with
other
european
suppliers?
I do
hope you

THE
ANSWERS
ARE:
- It
doesn't
matter
in
which
country
of
Europe
English
LTD
is
registered
for
VAT.
If
the
annual
turnover
is
expected
to
be
over
£61,000
in
the
first
twelve
months,
the
UK
Company
needs
to
be
VAT
registered
here. If
the
company
is
also
operating
from
Italy
, it
may
have
to
set
up a
branch
there
or
register
locally
there
for
VAT
purposes. The
easy
way
to
setup
everything
in
England:
bank,
accounting,
VAT
Returns.
This
way
if
all
operations
are
controlled
and
managed
outside
the
United
Kingdom
-
they
are
not
taxable
in
the
United
Kingdom.
- You
can
work
with
European
supplies
and
claim
your
VAT
Returns.
